Kirtika Challa
Head of Tunisia Advisory and Associate Principal, CrossBoundary
Kirtika Challa has established and leads CrossBoundary’s investment advisory team in Tunisia covering the broader North Africa region. Ms. Challa was born and raised in India and she holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School and a BA in Economics and Engineering Studies from Lafayette College. Prior to CrossBoundary, Ms. Challa worked at Morgan Stanley in New York as a Trader and in Corporate Finance, and has also had experience working in various parts of the World Bank Group including in political risk insurance (MIGA) and private equity (AMC), supporting transactions in the Energy, Extractives and broader Infrastructure sectors.
While at CrossBoundary Ms. Challa lead or supported the fundraise and strategic advisory of $50m+ of transactions across emerging markets encompassing a range of sectors including but not limited to agri-processing, healthcare, logistics, renewable/clean energy, energy access and enterprise software. She has also lead the structuring of blended finance instruments in order to increase access to capital for impactful sectors and companies in underserved markets. Prior to her role in Tunisia, she was the Deputy Head of CrossBoundary’s investment advisory team in Nigeria.
