Diversity Director, Oxford Venture Capital Network | Oxford MBA Student, Saïd Business School

Pelumi is a CFA charter Holder and Chartered Accountant currently studying for the MBA at Said Business school, University of oxford. He has over 7 years professional experience spanning investment banking, Sales & Trading across Africa.  

Prior to Joining oxford Said, he was an Emerging Markets Trader at one of Africa’s Largest Financial Institutions responsible for covering operations in Nigeria and SSA. Most recently at Oxford, he has worked with AI based stage start-ups s a Venture Consultant at the Creative Destruction Lab assisting them through the process from Ideation to Scale. 

He is passionate about representation and leveraging on the power of diversity from the board room to the classroom. He continues to pursue this passion at Oxford  as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Oxford Venture Capital Network. Pelumi was named as one of Google’s Top Black Talent in 2020, and is also the recipient of the RMB Founders Medal of Honor – the highest deal making award at Rand Merchant Bank.
