Group Head, Client Coverage, Standard Bank Group

With over 25 years in the financial services industry, covering a range of clients in different sectors across the African continent, Anne’s professional experience combines world-leading investment-banking strategy alongside a best-in-class Asset Liability (ALCO) management. Her deep knowledge of the region’s business, legislative and macro environments provides her clients with the insight and capability to manage risk while effectively leveraging Africa’s rich growth and opportunities.

Currently based in London, serving as Head of Standard Bank’s Client Coverage Team, Anne heads a dynamic team primarily based in sub-Saharan African countries and with a presence in four International locations. Over the course of her professional experience, she has been able to cover a wide variety of corporates across different business sectors operating on the continent. These include small-to-medium-sized and large African Corporates, as well as global multinationals. This enables her and her team to provide respective clients with the best-in-class global ability with unparalleled on-the-ground African access and insight.
Anne currently leads a management team focusing on the prudent and sustainable growth of quality client businesses across the continent.

Anne is a member of Standard Bank’s Corporate & Investment Bank Strategic Committee and the Global Investment Banking Executive Committee. Travelling widely in Africa, Anne has also serves on the Board of Stanbic IBTC Capital, a business regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria.
