Anita has risen to the forefront of the African broadcast industry to become a powerful Award Winning personality seasoned with experience and talent. She focuses on uplifting and inspiring women around the world. Anita has almost two decades in the broadcast industry focusing on Music, Lifestyle, Maternal Health, Social Impact, Education, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment. Now making appearances on international television as an actress, all the while expanding her media profile, Anita continues to inspire the next generation of Women through her advocacy for Girls Education and Women in Leadership. She is the Executive Producer and host of Sheroes of Our Time. Anita has been named one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa, the 100 Most Inspirational Women in Ghana and 100 Most Influential People in Ghana. Erskine is a global WASH Ambassador for WaterAid. Anita is the 2021 host of the Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative - Jack Ma Foundation's flagship philanthropic entrepreneur program in Africa.

In 2016, Anita Erskine Media was created to satisfy Erskine’s desire to help change the face of content production from the West African sub-region. Headquartered in Accra, the company specialises in Audio - Visual Production and Licensing of Terrestrial (Free To Air) TV Pay TV and VOD (Video-On-Demand). More recently AEM has worked in the Social Impact space, which a special focus on using the Media as a tool for teaching Ghanaians about the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2020, BossLady Productions became a subsidiary of AEM. The company creates content with a special focus on women.

Girls’ Education - In 2016, Anita Erskine founded the Women’s Elevation Fund. Through a rigorous selection process, WEF identifies marginalised Girls in parts of West Africa whose pursuit for a career in Film and Television Production has been hindered by poverty. WEF enrols one young lady every year into a Film Directing, TV Production or Public Relations post secondary program. During their education, internship opportunities are also arranged for the Beneficiaries. WEF has three beneficiaries so far.
